Maine Guide Wind Power, LLC “Your guide to energy independence”

	Here I can be seen tied off at the top of the tower securing the furling cable and armored cable to the tower after the Bergey Excel turbine had been lifted into place and secured. It took about 2 1/2 to 3 days to erect the tower and do all the clean up work making the installation secure and neat.
Here is a shot of the turbine from our steps in the front of our home, just like I pictured it at the beginning of this process. I am looking forward to a very cold and windy winter here in northern Maine. My Bergey Excel will help keep the lights on, and the wood from the site clearing will keep my home toasty warm.
